Cancellation of Event
EVENT BOARD: Judah Promotion
KEY ARTISTE: Kojo Kombolo
JUDAH PROMOTION would like to inform the general public that the 23rd July Haile Selassie birthday event which it would have also staged as a Royal Welcome Home Treat for KOJO KOMBOLO has been cancelled due to very sensitive reasons.
The Royal Welcome HomeTreat for KOJO KOMBOLO would have happened in JUDGEMENT YARD, Nima.
One of the key reasons for the cancellation is: 23rd July is Emperor Haile Selassie’s birthday and that historically happens as a mass celebration and is staged at a collectively agreed-upon venue, every year here in Accra. That realized, Judah promotion deems it prudent if the Rastafari adherents rather gather at one venue to observe the day -- instead of them being confused with multiple commemorative events that would cause conflict of interest and divided audience.

To avoid a scenario of conflict of interest and divided Rastafari audience, JUDAH PROMOTION has decided to cancel its intention to stage its singular commemoration of His Majesty’s birthday. The board, therefore, recommends “Jah Earth Day Concert” [AkumaVillage, 23rd July] to everybody, simply advocating collective observance of the day at a single venue.
JUDAH PROMOTION informs the general public that the “Royal Welcome Home Treat” for KOJO KOMBOLO which is now postponed to AUGUST 7, a very perfect date --- a date that adds much brand power to KOJO KOMBOLO’s alpha-numeral hash tag code: #RRR #777.
Rastafari unity and peace among his flock is key to collective security. One shepherd, one flock.
One blissful celebration to one and all.
