1. After the successful release and promotion of its maiden double pack riddim compilation project, the Irie Ites Studio is topping up its compilation discography with another double pack riddim compilation project with two new riddims: Mystic Roots Riddim and Sky Bar Riddim. This new project will be hosted by DJ Nature Won. The artistes listed for the project have been given a recording deadline date which is on 29th June, recording starts on Monday 5th June. All the artistes are strictly to record in the irie Ites Studio, except those outside Ghana.

2. Also, on a riddim compilation project is KaySam Teknik, AJ Lyricx’s personal music producer. KaySam Teknik disclosed to 13play that his “Teknikal Skills” riddim is a dancehall riddim and he has listed 13 artistes for the project. Likewise the Irie Ites Studio’s project hosting plan, KaySam’s compilation will be hosted by DJ of Ganj of Yfm. Further disclosure from KaySam went that there will be a nationwide radio tour for the project and all the project artistes will be on board the tour bus.

3. Just last night, Gabi --- an Afro Pop cum dancehall diva from Volta Region, released extremely hot photos off her “3y3 Woa” music video shoot gallery. Gabi released 3 separate mini galleries, namely: The Waterfalls Gallery, The El Aqua Gallery and The McCourton Gallery. Each gallery contains a set of 10 photos. Gabi’s “3y3 Woa” video was directed by Blakk Mexxiah, and shot by I&I – a video director from Togo. Gabi’s costume was designed by Jah Heights. The galleries were exclusively released on 13play.net

4. Scata Bada makes a huge impressive move with his Irie Bus riddim compilation project listing by shooting a separate music video to “Pick Up The Pieces, his version on the riddim. Officially, Ites Studio which produced the project, shot a medley video for the artistes on the Irie Bus riddim, but since then no single artiste on the riddim has ever released a separate music video of his version, except Scata Bada. The “Pick Up The Pieces” music video will hit the TV screens very soon.

5. Canada-based Ghanaian reggae artiste, Bentum Israel, has been robbed of his genuine second position in the just-ended Rastafest Showcase Showdown music video competition. Sort of a nepotistic case, the organizers of the competition are Jamaicans, thus they decided to transfer Bentum’s second position to the Jamaican artiste who came fourth in the competition. The original board decision was that the first 3 positions will be ushered into the next phase of the completion which will be held in Jamaica. Bentum Israel came up second in vote count judgment, which was obvious on the Rastafest website…….…yet he wasn’t listed among the first 3 top contestants. Bentum has rather been told to compete in the band clash section of the competition even though he filed for the competition as an artiste and not as a band.
