News Bit 1
The fever of riddim album project has gone contagious in Ghana that most Ghanaian record producers who have a better deft at reggae and dancehall beat-making are exhibiting their urge to put artistes on riddim albums.

Since the last quarter of last year, the producers have been releasing riddims upon riddims that just this month another great called Xpress Riddim hit the scene and it has broken the three year old Killa Riddim's record.

Before the release of Xpress Riddim, Killa Riddim was the most recorded-upon riddim in Ghana's reggae-dancehall riddim project history.....talking of the official number of songs on tracklist.

The Xpress Riddim currently has 27 officially songs on its tracklist and there's still more yet unmastered songs that will be released this and next week.

It is speculated that, the Xpress Riddim album will end having 30 or more songs on it.

News Bit 2

What many thought would be a long enough beef to heat up Ghana's reggae-dancehall sauce pot rather brought a great disappointment to expectants as the two beefing parties couldn't continue with their sequel releases to prolong the beef even when fans were clamouring for more.

As to why Yoggie Doggy and Mr Logic ended their beef abruptly even amidst intense popular demand for a second round, nobody knows. The two were fighting for supremacy, each one says he is the real Dada in the dance.

In the Ghanaian dancehall scene, the Dada title is considered bigger in weight than the dancehall king title, as whoever is crowned dada will be hailed as the father of the Ghana's dancehall king.

For the reason of title weight, Yoggy and Logic who both have some influence in Shatta Wale's career success wants to claim Dada of the dancehall but their boastful claim amounted to nothing as the beef ended with neither of them crowned by the masses as the real Dada ---- despite their laudable pioneer background in the Ghanaian reggae-dancehall history.

For years, ever since the beef between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy begun, fans on both sides and neutral ones have been expecting the Stone and Wale to release a collaboration which though is possible....yet the possibility gets broken some more each time their beef resurfaces.

Despite the seemingly impossibility for their collaboration, Stonebwoy has proven to be ever ready for it anything Shatta Wale is willing to collaborate with him. Stone said this in an interview a few days ago.
