The 3G Awards' plaque for Excellence In Reggae Music went to Ras Kuuku and the Ras sets a laudable record with his win (being the very first African reggae artiste to have won in that category) since the 9 year long run of the 3G Awards scheme.
The award night was held in New York Saturday 23rd November. Ras Kuuku was flown to the States from direct Ghana on Friday for the collection of the plaque in New York the next day (Saturday).
3G Awards conferred the Excellence In Reggae Music award on the Ras for his immense unwavering contribution towards the continued growth of the genre in Ghana and Africa.
