After winning the "Best Dancehall Artiste of the Year" last month at Western Music Awards, BetterDays GAD took it to the studio to spit defensive lines for a hot piece he dubbed "Top Striker", probably to defend his WMA plaque and send out a happy memorable lyrical print that will serve as a timeless celebration of his enviable win.

In the "Top Striker" cover art, BetterDays GAD is spotted brandishing his WMA plaque in a number 19 soccer jersey which has the inscription of his stage name and the song title on it. The jersey thus inferred as his likening the dancehall scene in the Western Region as a game and him being the grand skipper in the playing field.

As to which insights motivated him to come up with the "Top Striker" lyrical concept, BetterDays GAD cut his reply out straight from the current great fruition his music farm has given him --- from the baby admiration his first generation fans gave to his early stage releases, through the mighty good public reception his "Rose From The Concrete EP" enjoyed, right up the climax with his award win at Western Music Award '22.

"Top Striker", the GADZone Recordz production, comes out this Friday and it will be available on Audiomack, YouTube and also in the music stores.
