This week, the 13play gospel artiste search light shone on Veronica Komi-Bruce as part of the blog's pro-Christianity mission to introduce several pre-mainstream gospel artistes from across the world to its international readership, and the search team deemed the cute basic info it gathered on her worth the media spotlight and the global gospel music market --- even as her music is of great goodness.
With her songwriting prolificacy and an ever-reliable creative mind full of ready melodies for a quick music composition, Veronica demonstrates an easy mastery over songwriting --- a thing that has helped her create more music, thus her discography holds a respectable count of six albums and she still has a long string of several unreleased singles sitting in her song bank.
From the first to the sixth, the order of the songstress's albums stand as follows: "Nhyira Nka Nyame", "Moment of Praise", "Great Emmanuel", "Agallio Rejoice", "God Reigns", "Yahweh Reigns". Some of her notable singles are "Nyame AyÉ› Bi", "Hymn Book of Story", "Amazing God".
Currently, Vero is working on her 7th album which is officially scheduled for release in February 2024.All these years, it's been Benverj Records and VKB Music Ministry that have producing for Veronica Kumi-Bruce.
Veronica sings in three languages: Ga, Twi and English. While her Ga and Twi songs keep earning her home country fans, she uses her English songs as a crossover trick to reach foreign listeners.
Asked who her very immediate music influences are, Veronica mentioned Tagoe Sisters, Amy Newman, Yaw Sarpong, Don Moen.
The Saint Andrew's Church in Abossey Okai (Accra, Ghana) hold Veronica Kumi-Bruce dear. She has long been a prominent member that adds extra pride to the church's glory. She not only sings in church's Triumphant Band, but she is also a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mothers Union of St Andrew Anglican Church, Abossey Okai and a member of Anglican Clergy Spouses.
Then again in Vero's award log is a prestigious citation her church conferred on her for her career excellence as the first professional Anglican gospel female artiste to have emerged from the Accra diocese, the citation's impact doubled in recognition for her selfless support to the church's music band.
Veronica is married to Rev’d Fr. Nii Lante Kumi-Bruce, an Anglican priest of the Diocese of Accra. They have three children.
As a hardworking artiste that has the gospel at heart and is using her music to impact lives positively for the glory of God, the 13play blog team would like its readership to subscribe to Veronica Kumi-Bruce's YouTube channel and be her loyal fans.
