After being swung several moments between name maintenance and changing for a long time, Dangme land's gospel songstress Lady Angie finally strips out of her stage name and sheds it off for a new unique native name that would set her readily available by a lone click in Google search hits.

Lady Angie is now Jemakie.

According to her, Jemakie was the very native Dangme name her late grandmother gave to her at her christening, but she schooled as Angela (the popular expansion of Angie).

There are over a dozen Lady Angie artistes in Google search hits and on YouTube, making it impossible for a fan to hit straight at the very Lady Angie they search for. This search difficulty coupled with the branding pressure to stand out in Google search hits compelled Dangme land's Lady Angie to change to Jemakie.

The far better fresh Jemakie is currently super busy in the studio, working on a mini string of very fine singles. Fans are to expect more worthy videos of her while expecting an EP anytime soon.

At last year's tail, Jemakie (then Lady Angie) won home the "Best Gospel Song of the Year" award at Dangme Music Awards and she still has the poise for another DMA win this year.
