The talk around town about Rudebwoy Ranking always end with the talkers saying they've missed him as it's been quite a long time he dropped a tune for his fans and his long abscense is sort of overbearing, but Ruki has given him a timely pull-back and fans of both sides will be hearing new catchy lines from Rudebwoy Ranking this month.

More like Ruki has thrown two big stones in a short space of two weeks, counting the recent release of her "On God" refix which has the original hook voiced by Shatta Wale and her new release in question dubbed "Godiyah" which is stamped with a guest verse from Rudebwoy Ranking. "On God" and "Godiyah" are not lightweight stones, being joints that have top of the line dancehall artistes on them.

"Godiyah" is not just a jolly-dally piece for partying for any fan to only show off their foot work and prove the most skillful dance move, but Ruki and Rudebwoy brought out the song from a high place of gratitude --- thus the song was built as an appreciation masterpiece to thank Almighty Allah for all the pretty good stuffs He's done for us all all these years. Yeah, "Godiyah" in Hausa means "Thanksgiving" and its lyrics were born by two grateful hearts and hits as a song everyone relates to.

Ruki has been releasing Hausa-tiled songs for years and with them she's gradually taking the stance of Hausa dancehall queen, a title many of her fans identify her with. Apparently, there few female dancehall artistes singing in Hausa now, so Ruki stands out with that credit.

"Godiyah" was scheduled as an Eid release. It hit the blogs, Audiomack and YouTube noon time yesterday 9th July while Eid was up in the air wild.
